Air Côte d’Ivoire has confirmed it was the target of a cyberattack on Sunday, February 8, 2026, publicly disclosed on February 20.

The breach involved the unauthorized extraction of sensitive files, potentially including passenger information, employee records, and internal company documents.

The airline reported that flight operations were unaffected. Its continuity protocols ensured that departures and arrivals proceeded normally.

Authorities, including the Agence Nationale de la Sécurité des Systèmes d’Information (ANSSI‑CI) and the Autorité de Régulation des Télécommunications/TIC (ARTCI), are involved in the ongoing investigation.

Cybersecurity experts noted that the attack was carried out using ransomware, with the group INC Ransom claiming responsibility.

Air Côte d’Ivoire said it is strengthening its cybersecurity measures and working to protect those affected while maintaining international safety standards.
